1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderAt my follow up the neurologist gave me a diagnosis that my physical therapist had for warned me about that did not pertain to my representation of symptoms or length of the disease process. If the neurologist would have Google spinal stenosis she would have seen my symptoms listed under that disease process. She then sent me a message in my portal two hours later trying to add B12 deficiency as the cause of my numbness my labs are 331 out of 400. I was given Lipitor 40 mg at the hospital when my over all cholesterol levels are 179 non fasting and 109 when normal is under 200 and the other level was off by 9. Not sure if the know this drug has a side effect of weakness, leg spasm & possibly pain to me when the reason for my hospital admission was for leg weakness. NW neurologists I feel are drug pushers.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Syed is a wonderful doctor. She really listened to me and made sure all my concerns were addressed. She makes sure I’m taking the best course of action to treat the problem. I feel very safe and comfortable in Dr. Syed’s hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a neurologist.

5.0 star star star star starShe was really attentive and actually seemed to listen to what I was saying. She asked detailed and useful questions, and didn’t rush me through my answers. She suggested a tangible and practical plan for care and explained her conclusions and asked my input. She’s great!!!

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderWent to doctor explained all my symptoms. I have known Lyme disease. After her explaination of my symptoms, I asked her if she even believed in Lyme disease she answered she did not. I walked out. she states she believes in evidence based. There is evidence based facts regarding Lyme and neurological Lyme. Told me my facial droop and slurring/ stuttering was caused by trauma as a child when it started 2 weeks after a Covid vaccine. Will never recommend her to any one. I have never walked out from a doctors appointment. She told me CBT therapy would help my speech difficulties. A doctor who will in fact ruin patient lives.

5.0 star star star star starI actually already did recommend her to a coworker I had a meeting with during a work call the same day I saw Dr Gulrana Syed. She knew I was out for most of the day for a doctor visit and I told her my situation and how it went and that I really thought Dr Syed did a very thorough job - she asked me for her contact information as she stated she has noticed a few things off about her dad‘s memory recently.

5.0 star star star star starShe was very thorough in asking questions and listening to my responses. Read previous reports that I had brought to the appointment and followed up the information with contacting the test site. Dr. Syed put me through a series of physical tests or manipulations explaining purpose, and what she would be looking for in these tests. Again I thought she was very thorough with the initial exam. Dr. Syed never hurried hurried the initial visit. I never felt rushed throughout my appointment

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies.
