5.0 star star star star starNurse Taylor is professional with a warm personality. She diagnosed an issue I was having and gave me instructions on how to properly charge my battery. Furthermore, she reached out to Boston Scientific and followed up with me to keep me informed. Thank you nurse Taylor!

5.0 star star star star starShe is terrific and extremely knowledgable. She went out of her way to help me obtain a handicapped placard for my vehicle and volunteered to talk with the people directly responsible for authorizing Medicare to finance the cost of an electric wheelchair … both things she didn’t need to do. Dr. [ ] personally recommended her saying that she knows as much as he does regarding DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation). He was right! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about Parkinson’s Disease in general, but she has a terrific bedside manner and actually listens to you. Without a doubt, I highly recommend her.1

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
