5.0 star star star star starDr. Shastri is a perfectionist at what he does and in his line of work that is exactly who you want, he gave me back my nose after skin cancer, I cannot thank him enough. He has a great bedside manner, he explains things, so you understand them, he is very patient. If you need reconstructive surgery, I will not trust anyone else.

5.0 star star star star starI am still recovering from surgery, but Dr. Shastri was professional, outlined the options and outcomes of the surgery, was patient in answering my questions and fully informed and prepared my daughter to take care of me post op.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Shastri was one of the most bluntly honest doctors I've ever met with about anything, and it was very refreshing. I trusted the opinions and advice he gave me while he explained his biases that went into those opinions/advice. The only reason I gave a 9 and not a 10 is because he doesn't offer the procedure I was looking for, but I respect his reasoning why he doesn't.

5.0 star star star star starAfter having my nose broken, he got me in quickly when time was of the essence. I don't have the greatest insurance and he still did an amazing job. Looks gorgeous and I breathe better. Great bedside manner and explains things. When i was nervous about having surgery (first one ever) he reassured me. He's got a nice air of confidence but not where it comes off as arrogant. Seems like he cares about his patients and the results. Never felt rushed. And again the results were just amazing, he literally saved my face! Honestly i cant say enough good things about him and there aren't enough words to thank him, it meant the world to me.

5.0 star star star star starHe really is one of the best. He listens, explains, and makes you feel at ease. You know he knows his stuff because only an expert can explain it in such a clear way to a non-expert. Listen: I would come in with a notebook to the appointments with pages of questions before the surgery and he took the time to answer every single one of them and clarify. After the surgery, the same level of commitment and care continued. He and his PAs answered questions I had during the recovery and even in the follow up appointments. Plus I'm extremely happy with the results.

My procedure was one that I had never heard of, but his explanation and encouragement made me comfortable and confident that the outcome would be what I wanted. He is a very kind and caring physician.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Shastri was excellent in his explanations and care. My STD carrier (Hartford) presented issue after issue and he and his staff worked through them. Easy to understand and easy to follow the directions he gave me. I didn't like having to go to Glenview for my initial and follow up appointments. Lake Forest Hospital is convenient - Glenview - not so much.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Shastri is one of the most talented and skilled plastic/ent surgeons in his field. I've been working in the operating room since 1986 and he is one of the most remarkable surgeons I've witnessed. I would definitely recommend him.

5.0 star star star star starHe took the time to listen to all of my questions: and I brought a notebook!! He answered everything and more than once. I was worried about one part of my surgery and he explained the pros and cons of the options I had. I know I made the best decision possible thanks to how he explained everything.
