She explains everything she sees and discusses my options and game plan for my treatment. When I leave the office at the end of the visit I always feel I am under the best possible care.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderI like Dr. C. and know she is a very good doctor. I have the feeling that her specialty takes up a great deal of time. I only see her for full body checks because of skin cancer twice. There are a few things she is keeping an eye on but nothing serious at this point. Compared to her other patients I'm sure I am not a high priority, which I understand.

5.0 star star star star starShe has been the only dermatologist from the last 4 dermatologists I have seen to have known how to work with my skin. She has helped me with my head indentation, hair growth, and the rash on my breast has also started to heal. She is patient and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that it takes a long time to see her. To schedule to see her can take a minimum of 6 months or a year. I am not surprised since she is good at what she does so I can see why there is a long waitlist.

She is very encouraging and takes time to explain the best course of action for me in regard to my hair loss which is a depressing condition. I am thankful she is my doctor.

5.0 star star star star starOh my goodness, please, please, pass this onto Dr. Colavincenzo, she is absolutely amazing. Dr. Colavincenzo is very kind and her beside manner is impeccable. She took time to explain her thoughts and professional advice, exploring several options. In addition, I felt tremendously comfortable with Dr. Colavincenzo, she assured that I understood my options. Dr. Colavincenzo explained the procedure and post-care, I was comfortable with having the moles removed. I was a bit nervous with it being so close to my eye. Again, again, the nurse and Dr.Colavincenzo we’re absolutely amazing! Prior to the procedure the nurse made me feel as comfortable and possible. During the procedure Dr. Colavincenzo explained details with each step from start to finish. So very grateful with the outcome. I’m healing well! Shout-out to Dr. Colavincenzo and the Nurse. Thank you both so very much!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Colavincenzo is one of the most compassionate doctors I've encountered. She took ample time during my appointment, recognizing the effort I made to travel a long distance. Dr. Colavincenzo patiently addressed all my questions, providing additional explanations and discussing various options, including their pros and cons. Her role as a mentor was evident when she explained the contents of each medication to an intern, which proved beneficial for me. While it's too early to assess the effectiveness of the new prescription, what stands out is her genuine care. Unlike other practitioners who may dismiss concerns, Dr. Colavincenzo treats patients with respect and understanding. After extensive research to find the best dermatologist in Illinois, I can confidently say she lives up to the positive reviews.
