2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderDr Gwen wasn't willing to review my health records in the system to understand the medicine I took asking me to do it, saying the system wasn't good and wouldn't allow her to see my records, when I know this is not the case as other doctors were able to review my history, making it a great experience for me as the patient.

5.0 star star star star starGwen patiently answered all questions and talked over all options with me. There was no pressure to end our visit which made me feel comfortable asking questions and getting all the information i needed about my procedure, results, and care plan. Thanks, Gwen!

5.0 star star star star starShe was extremely respectful to me. She explained why this may take some time to get resolved. My husband was rather upset and she was able explain certain things to him. It’s very important to be somewhat sympathetic to the patient and family.

4.0 star star star star star_borderShe is a friendly person and seemed to care about my care. I’m glad she was honest, but I wish she knew the answer to a question about my feeding tube. The question is why do I get reflux from the water tube flushes that I do daily, gastric and jejunal tube flushes.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
