5.0 star star star star starWe love Dr. Knapik, she truly cares about her patients. She scores a perfect 10 on everything. We have been taking our children to see her for the past 22 1/2 years. Would not take them anywhere else.

5.0 star star star star starShe was thorough and knowledgeable, didn't just rush through the appointment. Answered our questions and concerns. Chatted with our [age] year old about importance of finishing her antibiotics which I appreciated.

5.0 star star star star starDr Knapik has been our family pediatrician for 22+ years. We have always received great care and genuine concern for any and all medical issues. She knows our family well and is like a trusted family member whose guidance is well appreciated and puts us at ease.

5.0 star star star star starI have already recommended her. I just don’t like that I can’t get through to her when I have a question. This last issue with my daughter was particularly frustrating. Overall though I don’t care for the system or the way they don’t allow you to communicate with the office directly, I do really like Dr Knapik. She’s the only reason I still take my children to NM.

5.0 star star star star starHave had a relationship with the same doctor for 22 years since our first born was [age] old. Have always received great care and concern for our children’s health. The doctor really knows our kids and is like a trusted family member. If an issue arises that is beyond her scope of treatment, she has always referred us in the right direction to address it. She has a great bedside manner and talks directly to her patients, yet addresses the parent as well, leaving everyone reassured.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderHelpful but made a comment when we asked about my [age] olds throat possible being sore and she asked if we wanted her to “gag†him to check and proceed to grad a tongue depressor before we told her it was ok and not necessary. As a new mother it made me very uncomfortable as I was just asking the doctors opinion.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
