She is wonderful. She is knowledgeable and very patient. She has a magnificent staff. My situation can present itself as a delicate one as my youth can be aggressive in nature. Dr. Jones respected my situation when it presented itself in her office. I was offered help, and Dr Jones was able to swab her for the necessary information I needed to help my youth. It could only come from knowing where this information lie in her DNA. Dr. Jones put some understanding to why my youth is small in stature, aggressive, why she has trouble sleeping, I was questioning her developmental delays and so much more. I was also offered referrals. I am pleased and definitely will refer her to others.

She explained that there's new and vital information available since the last time we met over a decade ago. She moved in to swab my young adult even though things were somewhat chaotic at the time. She showed genuine interest in helping me and wanting to provide the necessary information that I needed. Our session was shortened due to a meltdown.

Dr. Jones was very helpful in our follow up appointment with [Patient]. She added context and her own thoughts when applicable, but also let [Patient] drive the conversation since that is who we'd been working with up until that point. She had all of the relevant details at her disposal and came very well prepared to our appointment. I am very appreciative of her assistance!

Disclosures

External Professional Relationships

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
