5.0 star star star star starDr Rupp took time with me, didn’t feel rushed, and came up with an awesome plan of care for me. She is sympathetic and kind, and I felt much better leaving her office than entering. I am so grateful!

4.0 star star star star star_borderAs stated above, the care has been adequate. I generally have to wait upwards of ten minutes in the waiting room or the exam room after seeing the nurse first (sometimes the waiting happens in both instances). But everyone is busy and once I am seen, things go quickly.

5.0 star star star star starDr Rupp, recognized, my previous endocrinologist, had, over prescribed me, 4X’s, the Thyroid prescriptions, then, my body could tolerate. Once I got in, to see Dr Rupp, even though, I gave her a hard time, about decreasing my dose! Thank God, for Dr. Rupp! She helped me, go from someone, in a severe Thyroid Storm. To the way I feel today! I feel so much better! I didn’t think, (after being w/ my ex doctor) after being sick, for 12 years. I didn’t think, I was going to live much longer! I was VERY sick! I had no idea, I was on too much Thyroid hormone. I will ALWAYS, tell people, about, how Dr Rupp worked a miracle for me!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Rupp is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. She is thoughtful, responsive, and treats me as a whole person, not just as a medical problem to solve. She is empathetic, explains things thoroughly, is patient with questions, and listens in a way that few doctors do. I’m so grateful to have her as my doctor.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Rupp is always very attentive to my needs. She makes sure I co-own the treatment plan and that I understand WHAT I'm being treated for and WHAT I CAN DO TO HELP MYSELF. She also remembers me and my case, which is HUGE.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Demetra Rupp thoroughly answered our questions, listened to our comments, gave multiple treatment options, gave her professional opinions, and gave enough time for us to discuss two major health issues. This resulted in plans to address both issues. Thank you, Dr. Rupp!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
