5.0 star star star star starDr. Lin was extremely knowledgeable about a complex and rapidly developing area (a-fib) and was able to answer my questions completely. I now have confidence that I am doing what I need to do and that I do not need immediate surgery.

5.0 star star star star starHis explanations of what may be necessary — or not — in the future were calmly outlined and measured. The way he presented details of the most radical treatment were more reassuring than alarming.

5.0 star star star star starHe was very knowledgeable and forward/direct to the point. Dr. Lin explained it very thoroughly on what’s going on when no one ever did.. I have meet several doctors in the same hospital. Dr. Lin was the only doctor that suggested a different treatment and he even use the eraser board to explain what he was recommending for me to have. Here I am today with the results of the procedure he has done on my way recovery with great progress and hopes of not taking any medication at the end of the year. I cannot be thankful enough for making my life a better than six months ago. Thank you Dr Lin!!!

4.0 star star star star star_borderHe was very informative and not condescending. He “saw†me via on line meeting because he was sick himself and I appreciate his not risk exposing his patients to whatever he was sick with.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
