4.0 star star star star star_borderDr. Briggs is knowledgeable; however, my interaction was short and limited, so it is difficult to make a comprehensive recommendation. Perhaps Dr. Briggs could slow down his talking speed. Much of the information is new or may not be familiar to the patient. When asked what questions I had, I could imagine a patient wanting to ask him to repeat everything he just shared. I appreciated his willingness to ask for questions and his responses.

5.0 star star star star starHe's one of those doctors that you feel knows as much as an older more experienced doctor. He was probably mentored by a great doctor. Very clean, he actually used gloves, I've been to some doctors that don't. My feet are raw and ugly because of eczema so it was good to think he used gloves on the person before me. Very clean, professional and knowledgeable. Thanks to everyone there.

5.0 star star star star starAfter Dr. [ ] recommended Dr. BRIGGS I called Thursday and got an immediate appointment within 24 hours in Lake Forest. I was called into his office within two minutes of arriving in Lake Forest. He has a wonderful bedside manner explaining everything or what’s going on and his whole staff was awesome.

5.0 star star star star starI feel Dr Briggs has a good surgical training background. He reviewed w me the possible complications of surgery and I am still considering the procedure. For now, we have agreed to continue cortisone injections. I appreciate the fact that Dr Briggs is not an elderly surgeon. He is youthful and good-humored.

5.0 star star star star starThis was my first visit with Dr. Briggs. I have been having problem with my foot for about 3 years. Past visits with another doctor at NM was a waste of time. Dr. Briggs came in, asked me the problem, told him. His attitude was you have a problem, let's find out what it is, found what it is, lets treat it. It is now 8 hours later, foot is feeling better then it has in a LONG time. Will happily return to Dr. Briggs when needed.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
