5.0 star star star star starMy first time meeting with Dr. Kalainov. He is kind, excellent "bedside manner", truly listened to me, heard me, as well as carefully studied my medical history via shared MYCHARTS between UCHICAGO and Northwestern Hospital. He fully explained the possible treatment options, including pros and cons. He provided me with a sufficient amount of information, in layman's terms, to allow me to make an educated decision about how I would like to move forward.

5.0 star star star star starI have trust in NWM HAND SURGEONS! They performed excellent surgery to my hand over 10 yrs ago. They took care of my son [ ] hand injury. Now they are presently improving my other hand to perform well, and heal. I was an amputee and thanks to their medical care I am still able to work! God Bless them!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
