1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderShe is irritable. She is exasperated by her patients. She focuses on things that are unimportant (like the requirements for telamedicine as opposed to the purpose of the appointment.) She doesnt want to hear patient concerns. It was an extraordinarily frustrating call where none of my issues were addressed. And now I have to find a new primary care physician.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderShe is very thorough. My initial visits with her were quite difficult and I felt like she was impatient and judgemental. She was also very difficult to hear and she recommended that I get a hearing aid when I repeatedly asked her to speak up. This visit was better.

5.0 star star star star starIf it’s not too cheesy a word to use, “Loving†care- like a smart big sister, mom, true, honest, concerned, educated and experienced care. Asking deeper questions to make sure she has covered every area/ even if i haven’t thought about it myself,

5.0 star star star star starDr. Yang cares about my health and well being. We discuss everything that is as it should be; as well as everything that is not. Then we focus on the areas that need improvement. She follows up with appointments to monitor my progress. My overall health is improving under her care.

5.0 star star star star starI feel like Dr Yang is a partner in my healthcare. She asks questions and gets to know me and my lifestyle. She is thorough. She listens to me and offers strategies for the challenges and gently shoots down any excuses and offers alternatives. She encourages me to make lifestyle improvements and I made a significant one immediately following my previous visit.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderDr Yang is competent as a Physician, no complaints about skill or training. She speaks very rapidly, unusually fast and with a mask added, I can understand about 40% of what she says if I lean toward her and concentrate. I have to ask her to speak slower but she cannot so I have to ask her to repeat and usually to repeat again. This is not effective in a Doctor-Patient setting.I am 82 and I have a mild high frequency hearing loss but I do not have this difficulty with my other 5-6 health care providers or with receptionists or registrars. I have discussed this with Dr Yang, she understands and agrees that we do not communicate effectively. I will return to Dr Yang for my next follow-up visit but will seek another Primary Physician for continuing care.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
