5.0 star star star star starDr. Hammond was absolutely amazing. He explained everything in a thorough manner using evidence based medicine. He made me feel comfortable even when I have preferred female physicians in the past.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Hammond is the best. As a patient what else could you ask for when you have a doctor that is thorough, listens to you and answers your questions, and shows that he cares about you as his patient. Thank you.

5.0 star star star star starExtremely opened, bed side manner was caring and did what was more then appropriate in relieving the emotional stress without me thinking 🤔 the surgery wasn’t anything. In other words he explained everything step by step. Wow, I am grateful for his talent and bedside manner.

5.0 star star star star starI think Dr. Hammond is GREAT. He is considerate, thorough, patient and good at answering patient's questions or concerns. He called me just three hours after my visit to report the results of the specimen he took during the visit. My experience is that it is extremely rare for a doctor to call a patient rather than have his secretary or nurse do so. I couldn't be more pleased with him. [Patient Name]

5.0 star star star star starDr. Hammond is thoughtful, he actually reads my whole chart and talks to me about things that happened in previous appointments even when he wasn’t the doctor I saw at that appointment. It relieves a huge mental burden to know the doctor actually knows what is going on with me and is engaged in a continuation of care.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
