5.0 star star star star starDR DERRICK is an excellent doctor. I will always be under her care. She has saved my life in the past. For a terrible sickness I had. And she takes very good care of my husband too. Who is disabled in a wheel chair. We love DR DERRICK very much. And we will always have her in our hearts! Please make sure she gets acknowledged. Sincerely [Patient's names] her patients.

5.0 star star star star starDr derrick is straight up amazing. Incredibly thorough, listens to ANY even minor question/concern you may have. She always goes so above and beyond and is so easy to talk to! She has helped me through so many difficult times, and we celebrate the little things. She has helped me cope by doing this w/complex care. I am so lucky to have her for my pcp. I recommend her to absolutely everyone. And i hear in the cdh lab more often than not, people waiting for labs, ofteb hearing dr derrick’s bame in stranger conversations, and it is absolutely nothing but compliments and how truly wonderful of a dr she is and how incredibly caring for each and every patient. I have heard her name in conversations at cdh since 2012, after i first met her. And i knew i had a gem of a DR! But the ither dr’s are also great! Esp dr [ ] and dr [ ] . I have had a few interactions with both of them. All the dr’s are so kind and so caring!

5.0 star star star star starShe’s the best! She takes her time never in a hurry to move onto the next patient you are number one at that time and she makes you feel it. And just before we’re done, she will ask if I have any more questions just to make sure everything’s been covered.

5.0 star star star star starDr Derrick truly cares for her patients. She always looks me in the eye while we’re discussing my issues. That seems a small thing to ask, but it is—sadly— an unusual way for a doctor to receive her patient. It is an absolute blessing. More than I can say. It allows for an honest, rich relationship.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Derrick is attentive and wonderfully competent. She goes beyond expectations by listening carefully, noting and analyzing health issues, and reaching out to other doctors (e.g., cardiologist Dr. Todd [ ] ) on staff if issues warrant it.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
