5.0 star star star star starDr. Rabacal was extremely kind on issues that other doctors I’ve seen in the past have been more flippant about. I really appreciated that he answered my questions and seemed to legitimately want the best for me. He knows his stuff and helped me plan next steps.

5.0 star star star star starHe’s incredible. Great listener and one of the few doctors I’ve ever had to listen to me, empathize with me, and make me feel welcomed and heard. I wish my PCP was half as good as him. He’s awesome.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Rabacal was not only intelligent but extremely kind, patient, and down to earth, which made me feel comfortable enough to share my health concerns and feel as though I was a partner in the development of my treatment plan. He carefully explained the rationale behind his recommendations and guided me through what to expect in terms of next steps. I am extremely grateful to have had Dr. Rabacal help take care of me, and any institution would be fortunate to have him.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
