5.0 star star star star starMy experience with Dr. Masood was very positive. She is extremely thorough, patient, and compassionate. I greatly appreciated that she took the time to fully review my history and concerns, in addition to directly involving me in the plan of care.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderDismissing of symptoms that were told by both immediate care doctor and PC to come here for after visit notes don’t match what was discussed or promised/conveyed during appointment by doctor and subsequently causes follow up via my chart to not be consistent and the doctor provides incorrect information in addition to not following up at all Very demure and polite in person but that has nothing to do with the level of care she’s “providing†Makes generalized assumptions for causes of issues despite being informed by patient that her reasoning given is not applicable instead of doing proper referral or thorough follow up of symptoms Most recent appointment 330pm appointment arrived at 320, no doctor seen until 430pm. Does not follow through with appropriate referrals for diagnosed issue, diagnosed issue not updated in MyChart despite being in her own notes

5.0 star star star star starMy Dr. Deeba (Masood) is soooo Wonderful (and her entire staff) They make me feel at ease all the time, they ALL always Hear my needs, and take time to explain all my meds. I have been a Patient of Dr. Deeba Masood for 30 yrs. Would not go anywhere else.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Masood is a very caring and capable physician. She used active listening techniques at each step of my visit. She reviewed my test results/trends rigorously, asked gentle yet probing questions, and clarified my responses to ensure she understood. Her approach gave me confidence in both her abilities as a physician and her genuine concern for my health.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Masood went above and beyond to understand my medical history and discuss the care plan she thought was appropriate. She was caring and very generous with her time. She asked detailed questions to help me clarify any points of confusion. I felt heard and respected, and I am fully confident in placing myself in her care.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI did not make up my reaction Just because you have never heard about different colored rashes does mean it didn't happen. When you go to the ER do you take pictures of what's happening to you? I shouldn't be scolded for not having a picture. I shouldn't be made to feel like what happened to me is important. I shouldn't be made to feel less than.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Masood was fantastic. She was the only allergist we have visited that asked about the complete history of health challenges from a broad spectrum of possibilities to help work towards isolating the root cause of the problem.

5.0 star star star star starShe was patient, kind, caring wanted to find out why I had the issues I had. Understanding of minimal medications and finding the root cause of things. Spent over an hour just going through past medical history and coming up with a plan and discussed all things with me. So patient! I don't know if I have ever had a doctor that wants to resolve issues as much as her!

5.0 star star star star starDr Masood listened to the details of the issue I was having and confirmed she completely and accurately understood my medical situation, before making recommendations on how to address my issue. Despite this being last minute, Dr Masood was only a few minutes late and a PA from her office contacted me to let me know what was going on.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Masood is amazing! As is all of her staff. She was very attentive and made sure we understood the tests being done and the results. She cares about her patients and really listens and asks questions. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an allergist/immunologist.

5.0 star star star star starShe took her time. She asked about her history in specially long detail. We never feel rushed. My daughter felt safe and we both feel finally acknowledged for the persistent cough she's had for years. The nurse Andrea did a wonderful job making her feel comfortable while getting her allergy testing done.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Masood was extremely thorough and kind. She wanted to make sure our questions were answered and our concerns were addressed. We are grateful to her. Previous experiences with another allergist (not associated with Northwestern) left us feeling hopeless and worried. Dr. Masood changed that. In her, we have found someone who cares and sincerely wants to understand how to help us. Our confidence in her knowledge and ability to provide care for our son has given us peace of mind we haven't had in years. Thank you!

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI would not recommend her to anyone. She seems like she hates her job! Her patient encounter lacks basic human interactions. It was more of an interrogation rather than history taking. She kept commenting “ irresponsible “ when I wouldn’t remember an event and making facial gestures like she is judging me. And what concerned me the most, is she screamed in front of my son that “ we need to take his blood†which traumatized him. I never want to see a doctor like her again, and definitely shouldn’t be working with pediatrics.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderThe entire appt was a mess from start to finish and it got worse after I read the medical notes. So many errors, wrong information regarding my symptoms, physical exam findings added although no exam was done…and there was a diagnosis within that exam for a health issue - An issue I don’t have. I can only assume this was copy and pasted from another chart because they were not my physical findings. There is so much wrong in the notes which will effect my future medical care and diagnosis if not corrected. This is a horrible experience for someone who has been to so many Drs, feels so ill, and has mounting medical bills and desperate for answers. There was no compassion, care, personal interest or plan. The Dr even left in the middle of our appointment/conversation to see another patient possibly? She was gone for quite some time. The appt ended awkwardly and she just walked out of the room. I didn’t even realize it was over and I didn’t get an after visit summary. It was my worst experience ever in all the Doctors I have ever been to.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderShe is mean. She hurt my arm. She seemed intolerant and annoyed that I could not pinpoint exact dates of my reactions to meds. She expected black and white answers when my issues are vague and unclear and involve many factors and autoimmune issues and diseases. Also, she was late, and once she finally decided to test me (or not) for a particular allergy, I did not have time to spend another hour at the office.

5.0 star star star star starDr Masood took a lot time and asked me tons of questions to try and solve my problem. She was so kind and friendly as well. It's nice to see that there are still doctors who don't rush you out the door!
