5.0 star star star star starPayal Korde is truly outstanding . I have been her patient since November 2023 to learn the Schroth method for my scoliosis. Her educational abilities and hands on treatment have allowed me to learn to incorporate this into my daily life. This visit was a follow up. I had not seen her for a month. She reviewed my ability to perform complex exercises, always including some praise along with suggestions on how to do a better job....I was doing some things wrong. I always feel I have learned something I can use by the time my appointment is finished.

5.0 star star star star starPayal taught me how to walk today. I am walking! She removed my fears and gave me the courage to walk. I am forever grateful. Please take her to lunch, give her a cake, a promotion or simply let her know that she is needed and respected for her ability to make this patient-me, know that I can do it! And for the record, when Payal praises me, she really means it! Not the fake ‘good job’ crap but when we go through the exercises and stretches and I master each one, she’s genuinely as happy as I am. ♥ï¸

5.0 star star star star starI have spent 12 consecutive weeks, once weekly, with Payal Korde. She was highly effective and I feel able now to make some basic changes that will allow me to improve my problem. The purpose of my weekly sessions was to learn the Schroth method for managing scoliosis. This is a highly individualized approach that requires the patient to understand how the spine, and various bones and muscles work and what adjustments the patient needs to make to improve the scoliosis. Payal uses sound and effective teaching and communication skills, and that allowed me to learn (at least the basic) breathing, stretching, and isometric exercises I need. Her patience, encouragement, and feedback on my performance as I struggled to understand and perform new exercises facilitated my learning. I have become a real believer in this method and am motivated to continue my daily exercise sessions to address my problem. Payal empowered me to feel there is something I myself can do to improve. And in fact, my pain level has improved thanks to this program! I have 2 additional appointments with her to learn a bit more and check my progress, and can't wait to work with her again.

5.0 star star star star starPayal has the heart of a teacher. She listens and has been an amazing help in my road to recovery. The exercises she helps me with WORK. She is respectful and no question asked is too trivial. I feel like she totally understands.

5.0 star star star star starPayal carefully examines me through questions, visual observations and massage of the troubled areas. She asks me to do exercises, asking me how they feel ( and where) and then waits for feedback on my next appointment re hod I felt after doing those exercises before deciding if I should continue doing them in that specific way. And, she explains carefully.

5.0 star star star star starI meet weekly with her. She first evaluates the way I am doing assigned exercises, my physical progress, and answers my questions. Then she teaches me new techniques to add to my repertoire, explaining them thoroughly. She is calm and positive throughout, and this is extremely helpful to me throughout the week before my next visit. She has also, upon request, provided me with written directions on what to do.

5.0 star star star star starShe is great to work with. She has a great personality, really cares about her patients, and has surprised me by using different types of ways to ease my back pain. I feel I get better care with her on 14 than I did in knee rehab on 13 in ortho dept.

5.0 star star star star starShe is a very thoughtful therapist. She asks a lot of questions and is very careful about the treatment so that it helps the affected areas without causing residual pain. She is only the second PT I have worked with that provides relief and I don't have PT-related pain later in the day or the following day.
