5.0 star star star star starBecause she wasn’t condescending towards me like the last Drs. I saw for the same problem. She listened to my questions then gave me very straightforward answers and described them to me in a way that made sense and I agree with. She didn’t act like I wasn’t at all familiar with my body or the way that I felt. She took me seriously and we agreed on a plan of action and I’m grateful!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Brown fit my newborn son in for a tongue tie correction within 18 hours of us calling because we are moving out of state at the end of the week. She came in extra early to fit us in. I’ve never had a doctor go out of their way to help us so much before and we are so thankful for her help.

5.0 star star star star starVery thorough, knowledgeable, went over my sleep study with me, and personable. Very good plan of care from her, but included me in that and showed me some devices for sleep in line that I can purchase to help my snoring.

5.0 star star star star starSHE CAME OVER TO SEE ME IN THE E.R. AND ACESS MY SITUATION. SHE GAVE ME SOME OPTIONS, TRIED A NON INVASIVE CAUTERIZING OPTION, AND THEN RECOMMENDED SURGERY RIGHT THEN THAT SHE COULD ARRANGE AND PERFORM. SHE ALSO CONTACTED MY PRIMARY SURGEON (DR. [ ]) DOWN TOWN NWM, AND ARRANGED THE SURGERY AT DELNOR. VERY GOOD AT EXPLAINING AND SOLVING THE PROBLEM.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
