Dr. Youmans was probably the most caring and professional Physician I have ever encountered, and today was my very first visit with him. He explained the Northwestern heart transplant protocol in a way that was understandable and relatable to alleviate the fear and trepidation that I previously had until discussing it with him. I would choose him above any Cardiologist I have ever been under the care of previously.
