5.0 star star star star starDr Sutter was very personable, engaging, and very thorough. It was a lot to take in. Right now, I’m sitting on all the information that he presented to me today. I liked him very much and would feel very comfortable with him as my surgeon.

5.0 star star star star starHe came in early to say hi and mark my limb due to have the anterior hip replacement. He came by after surgery to see how things were going once I had been up and walking the halls. I am sure I was still fairly anesthetized to the pain and was feeling pretty alright :). Dr. Sutter and all of his office staff were extremely helpful post surgery when I had a concern about a spot of significant bruising that I had just noticed and a lump nearby. They explained it was perfectly normal after having me do a physical task and me not feeling any pain or discomfort. Very responsive staff and doctor!!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Sutter takes his time to thoroughly explain his treatment plan, as well as what’s going wrong in my body in layman’s terms which helps me as I have mild cognitive issues. He answers all my questions and still asks if I have anything else to discuss. Dr. Sutter has an excellent bedside manner and doesn’t rush you through your appointment. I look forward to working with him as I get ready for my knee replacement surgery. Thank you, Dr. Sutter!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
