5.0 star star star star starDr Hsu is an excellent, empathetic listener. Explains clearly in easily understood, non-techical language. He is patient & thorough too. I also liked the doc who worked with him, Dr [ ], who was eager to be helpful. However, Dr T[ ] should strive to be as good a listener as Dr Hsu (more diplomatic, less interrupting.) I write the latter in a respectful, not critical way.

5.0 star star star star starHe took the time to explain everything and answer my questions. He advised a conservative course of treatment, relying on PT and pain medication before even trying an injection. And this surgeon did not advise surgery!

5.0 star star star star starI said it previously, but it bears repeating. I have always found Dr. Hsu to be extremely thorough, patient, compassionate and committed to my care. He never makes me feel rushed and always is very comprehensive in his education and pursuance of the best possible health outcome for my complex situation. He recently said he would 'move mountains' to get me the right care and I truly believe his commitment. He is greatly appreciated!

5.0 star star star star starFirst of all he greeted me with a handshake he made me comfortable, I ask questions about my symptoms and about me and he took his time and spoke to me and explain to me the best way I could understand. I think he is excellent and I will recommend him to anybody. Also the PA, Jeremy [ ] he gave me a lot of suggestions also greeted me very nicely. I think that is very important, when doctors addressed themselves. they make the patient feel really comfortable.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
