5.0 star star star star starDr Lu had great listening skills, he’s been my doctor since 1997 and there is no doctor who believes in preventive healthcare. He has not problem with being transparent when questions are ask, it’s his opinion because he cares and he want you to have the best health possible.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Lu is hands down the best physician I have ever had. So much so I have referred several people to him over the years. All of the components of patient centered care - Dr. Lu exhibits. I feel Dr. Lu genuinely cares about my health which is apparent by him taking the time to make connections during the diagnosis of my health conditions. I never feel rushed during visits although I am fully aware doctors are encouraged to pack in as many patients as they can in a day as opposed to taking the time to fully understand their patients healthcare needs. I am also impressed that Dr. Lu actually takes the time to review notes and oftentimes reminds me of what I communicated in the past. There is only one other physician I have seen in the NW system that does this.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
