5.0 star star star star starThe Doctor did a great job with both procedures explaining everything. The first time a nurse did not put a mask on. I said something. This time he told a different nurse to mask up. I appreciated that. During the procedure had had an experience that they needed to stop the procedure. He made sure I was ok and stable after that happened. He listened when I said I don’t feel right.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Havelka was very kind and professional and made us feel completely at ease. He explained complicated medical information in a straightforward and easy to understand manner. He offered as much time as needed for us to ask questions and addressed all of our concerns. We feel very confident with him as a provider and look forward to working with him.

5.0 star star star star starI met with Dr. Havelka and he was so professional and made me feel reassured about my procedure. The day of the procedure I was nervous but he met with me again prior to the procedure, spoke with me and my husband - he was the best!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
