5.0 star star star star starDr Mikati is an incredible cardiologist and an unbelievably nice person. From the moment you walk in the room you feel that you are in the hands of a knowledgeable yet compassionate expert doctor. He pays attention to the patients needs and always provides the best of care. He's so brilliant and pays such close attention to what the patient says that he remembered that my father played chess with his grandson after being told that 7 years ago. We are truly blessed to to have Dr Mikati as our cardiologist. Thank you doctor!!

5.0 star star star star starDr Mikati is thorough in his desire to understand all facets of his patient’s health issues, gives them time and thought, and will not let a relevant answerable issue remain unanswered. No cookie-cutter, by the book approach here. He is like a dog with a bone and will not stop until he is satisfied that he has as thorough an understanding of the facts as possible.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
