5.0 star star star star starDr Gimre in particular is exceedingly flexible with his busy schedule and makes a considerable effort to be available on short notice for appointments and treatments. His Athletic Trainer Jeff is knowledgeable and friendly. Great team and I’m confident I’m getting the best care.

5.0 star star star star starDr Gimre was professional, knowledgeable, explained why he was doing each part of the exam. Further elaborated on the anatomy and what could be a possible cause and explanation for symptoms. All while he asked if I had any other questions or concerns

5.0 star star star star starHe listened to my daughter describe her pain and understood her challenges as an overhead athlete. He thoroughly explained everything about her shoulder x-ray and her problem - addressed her directly and answered all of our questions. He recommended PT and explained how and why it would help her range of motion and her volleyball performance. Also how to treat the pain in her rotator cuff. She is definitely invested in following his recommendations.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
