5.0 star star star star starHe called me and gave a very detailed analysis of my case in our first tele call with one another. His thorough understanding of previous tests and results made me feel he really knew my case, and I wasn't just another 'number".

5.0 star star star star starDr. Stein is one of the finest doctors I have ever encountered. He and his fellow explained things to me in language that I could easily understand….not remotely condescending and continually asked if I had any questions. Best ever !!!!’

5.0 star star star star starDr. Stein was above and beyond with my appointment today. He not only spent the time to talk with me about my concerns, but also spent time explaining the reasoning behind his opinions and my options going forward. He even provided me with the name of a researcher with good publications on some of my questions - I’ve already looked up her publications and am finding them quite helpful. I really appreciate him as a doctor and felt very comfortable with his knowledge and compassion.

5.0 star star star star starAside from being a renowned specialist in his field, Dr. Stein is kind and approachable. He is an active listener- asking questions, sharing his thoughts and pertinent information, networking toward providing optimal care, and in sum, engaging his patients with the rare combination of compassion and professional knowledge.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI want no conflict of interest in my care. However since I do very much like and appreciate how Dr. Stein's mannor and care was both times I have seen him, to me that in enough to recommend the department as a whole.

5.0 star star star star starAs I stated earlier, Dr Brady Stein is very knowledgeable and conservative in his approach to treating blood disease. He makes sure you, the patient, have all your questions answered prior to ending the appointment.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
