5.0 star star star star starDr Nielsen is the best doctor we could ask for. She always has time for our questions, is so patient and amazing with our babies, and she educates us on anything we need. As first time parents, she always makes us feel like we’re doing a good job :) We’re so lucky to have her!

5.0 star star star star starVery friendly, approachable and personable. She talked to our daughter like a normal person (I feel like so many talk to 4 year olds like they’re babies and I dislike when people do that). Very happy to be in Dr. Nielson’s care now.

5.0 star star star star starVery thorough and comprehensive. Takes times to answer all questions. My child has anxiety about going to the doctor. Dr. Nielsen does an excellent job making her feel comfortable and explains everything to her at her level.

5.0 star star star star starDr Nielsen is very thorough - not rushed - explains things well for tweens and teens speaks to them and engages and explains for their responsibility and learning. We drove 45 mins each way to the practice - and for her advice and expertise - often times rather than immediate Care as trust her opinions and treatment advice.

5.0 star star star star starI only had an appointment for my diabetes but since my son was sick too, she took the time to see my son in addition to my daughter while they were both sick. I didn’t mind paying for two appointments and I’m so thankful she took the extra time. She is always so amazing and through and patient.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
