5.0 star star star star starDr Nielsen is wonderful. She’s thorough and pleasant. All three of my kids love coming to see her. She’s great at connecting with each of them. It never feels like we’re being rushed which is rare. I tend to leave other doctor appointments feeling like I didn’t have time to ask questions, let alone get answers. Dr Nielsen has helped trouble shoot a variety of issues over the years. Highly recommend her to friends.

5.0 star star star star starDr.Nielsen is the best doctor!! She makes my kids feel safe and we always feel welcomed. She was the first doctor out of 6 doctors that was able to help me find a solution to my son’s sickness. We have been with her ever since. She is knowledgeable and as a parent I trust her opinion to best advise me on my children’s health. Absolutely amazing to work with and definitely recommended family and friends to new beginnings pediatrics office.

5.0 star star star star starShe is very thorough with every visit, not matter what we are being seen for. She is extremely knowledgeable and I love the fact she doesn’t just write a prescription for everything. She tries to get to the root of the problem and sometimes offers up natural remedies to try. She is the best.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderIt felt like her care was very lacking in compassion. Like she was more motivated to dismiss us and get on with her day than be helpful in finding solutions or referrals for the problem we came to see her for.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Nielsen is incredibly thorough during the office visits and often follows up after the visits. My daughter always feels comfortable talking to Dr. Nielsen, and we have no doubt that we are receiving the best possible care. She is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain treatment and to answer any questions we may have. We feel very fortunate to have Dr. Nielsen as our daughter’s doctor.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
