5.0 star star star star starDr. Havenhill worked me in today. Took his time to evaluate and rule out a joint injury. Even to me, my symptoms were somewhat vague with only certain motions creating the pain. I didn't feel rushed even though I knew I was an add-on.

5.0 star star star star starVery attentive and understanding to reason for visit. Also accommodating to patient's schedule. Dr. Havenhill's common sense approach to keeping visits efficient is appreciated. I wish more doctors were as reasonable as he is.

5.0 star star star star starI saw two other doctors before my visit today and left both appointments without a diagnosis or solution to the problem I was experiencing. Today I was in and out of my appointment within 20 minutes and received both a diagnosis and solution within that time. Dr. Havenhill was very personable and knowledgeable about the issue I came in for.

5.0 star star star star starDr Havenhill was great. He made sure that I fully understood the injury and the treatment. He set expectations as to how things should proceed while also cautioning me to be careful and not to overdo anything.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI know he is a good doctor but his bedside manner was a bit cold towards my son. He was a little rough when checking his wrist. I know they get desensitized to minor injuries but it doesn't mean the patient is in less pain.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
