5.0 star star star star starCalvin is very professional. He helped me to feel better immediately. He understood how I was feeling. He didn’t judge me for quitting my exercise routine during the pandemic and never returning. He listened to my complaints and I am very happy with him as my therapist.

5.0 star star star star starThe reasoning for my score was based on the treatment, the open ended questions we had back and fort on how on what we were going to work on first. The analysis of my examination with Calvin was very detailed and he explained everything as he worked with me. After our session Calvin explained if he was not available there were other physical therapist who could see me as well.

5.0 star star star star starI’ve had pain and numbness for over a year and have been back and forth between doctors and physical therapy before coming to Calvin. He was quick to find the problem, offer solutions, and set a realistic timeline for care.

5.0 star star star star starCalvin cuts to the chase. My original diagnosis was a right inflamed glute. He massaged it. Then instructed a series of moves. Led exercises. Built upon the therapy of his colleague. Handed me my work, all of which we did during the session. Today’s session logically extended the therapy. All explained in detail and outcome expected.

5.0 star star star star starHe is a very good therapist, knows what he is doing. Explains as he proceeds with therapy and always insists that patient should follow the exercises that are given to them. Very engaging with the patient. I enjoy being there for my treatments

5.0 star star star star starCalvin is informed, inquisitive and knowledgeable of my condition . He provides accurate summary of expectations for the therapy for me. He under promises and over delivers, which is always good practice.

5.0 star star star star starHe is very professional. Takes the time to explain ergonomically what is causing my issues. He provides immediate relief to pain through different techniques and then provides a support plan for "maintenance" between appointments. He suggests different approaches to address the issues.

5.0 star star star star starHe is constantly thinking about what can improve my strength and conditioning and adjusting his approach. He teaches me as we go through the exercises so I know what the point of each one is. He's friendly and encouraging.

5.0 star star star star starI'm 73 years old. I been very athletic over my 73 years. As a result, I've seen more than my share of physical therapist: pulled or torn muscles, rotator cup injury, torn meniscus, bulging disc etc. etc. I never had a more professional, knowledgeable or competent physical therapist than Calvin. I would rate him in the top echelon of all the therapist I've ever see. I would recommend him to my immediate wife, even my mother, who she is a real skeptic.

5.0 star star star star starHe takes great care of his patients. This is my second time coming back to him for my physical therapy needs. I feel he takes the time to fully understand the multiple triggers for the issue at hand and takes things step by step to set me and my body up for success.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
