5.0 star star star star starDr. Kadow had a full morning of appointments; consequently she was running behind schedule. She apologized for running late. I thanked her and stated that her apology was received / appreciated but definitely unnecessary! Dr. Kadow's demeanor was inviting, warm, caring and she "heard" me ... my concerns. She NEVER rushed through my appointment, and gave me the respect, opportunity to engage in my diagnosis and care. Blew me away with her complete level of personalized care, treatment but more importantly ... BEING TOTALLY PRESENT WITH ME.

5.0 star star star star starIt’s hard to answer this question because I have only seen Dr. Kadow on one occasion. Nonetheless, she was prompt, courteous, and friendly. She explained the results of my diagnostic imaging in a way that I could comprehend the medical issue I was facing, clearly described the available treatment options, and announced the steps that would be taken to address and rectify the problem.

5.0 star star star star starShe listened to all of my concerns and made me feel validated. She also allowed me to make the decision for which treatment plan I wanted to proceed with instead of forcing me to do one I wasn’t comfortable with.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
