5.0 star star star star starShe has taken a lot of time to make sure I understood the surgery and how things would proceed after that. I especially appreciated her calling me the night of my fall/before consultation so I didn’t feel rushed at all.

5.0 star star star star starI was involved in an auto accident, where my [ ] [ ] was most likely compromised. My x-ray confirmed there was a break, and from what they could see it most likely would be half hour surgery. Dr Kadow was assigned to my surgery and I thank God for For the providential assignment. My surgery was several weeks from the accident just before the surgery I met with the doctor And she confirmed that it would most likely be a short surgery. when she opened my hand up, it was broken in 23 places. She took the time to wire my [ ] back together. She prevented my [ ] from losing mobility! When I woke up, I looked at the clock, and I thought maybe I needed additional sleep, but when the doctor came in, she explained that it was much more extensive than the x-ray. if it wasn't for the additional titanium plate that was support for the wiring, I hardly even notice I had such an extensive break. I know several other [ ] that had lost a great portion of their ability from similar breaks. On the professional side, she is warm and considerate, and I can tell that all things are in order. She has a passion about her practice that exudes confidence. I am extremely thankful that I now have her to take care of any maintenance as time goes on. I have already referred several friends and colleagues.

5.0 star star star star starShe developed a nice rapport right off the bat that helped reassure me. While I don’t need to follow up again, I feel very confident in saying that I would definitely return to Dr. Kadow if I needed further orthopedic care in the future.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
