5.0 star star star star starIt’s so very nice to have a true conversation with a doctor, I’ve been talked down to by previous doctors where my thoughts we’re immaterial. She listens to my concerns then we discuss them. We collaborate to find a solution.

5.0 star star star star starI usually arrive to appointment a little discouraged and assume I’m at the end of possible treatments to try. But I usually leave hopeful and feeling more positive! She asks me a lot of questions about how I’ve been over last couple months, much more than previous doctors I’ve seen. As a bonus she’s a practical, clear speaking doctor which I like.

5.0 star star star star starShe took the time to meet with me and talked through my case asking questions and offering insight. This was the first time in a rheum appointment that I felt heard and like the doctor was thinking through my case. I had never felt that way at any of my previous rheum visits with another doctor.

5.0 star star star star starThere are not enough positive and wonderful things available to say about Dr. Weckerle...simply put, she is the very best Doctor I've ever had the privilege of being treated by and simply by knowing. She is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable; she is caring and kind. She has the ability to understand how your illness is connected physically and mentally. Simply put, she is what every Doctor should be and aspire to be.

5.0 star star star star starDr Weckerle has always been such a caring and compassionate doctor. She listens to all my complaints and trust me I am a mess and she does everything she can do to help me. She actually asks my opinion on things which you never have drs do. I wouldn’t trade this dr for the world. Thank you Dr Weckerle for all you do

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
