1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderOdd bedside manner and I didn’t feel like he listened to me as a patient. Took a very long time to decide to order labs and sent me down to immediate care after their lab closed. Sending me to square one/to register at immediate care after an hour appointment made me feel like there was no point to my appointment with him.

5.0 star star star star starTo many doctors give you just 15 minutes. If you only have one issue that's fine. I have multiple conditions and had multiple tests done recently. Dr. McNaughton went through all my questions and concerns.

5.0 star star star star starDr. McNaughton is a very knowledgeable and personable physician. Not only does he give me a thorough physical, but he actually takes the time afterwards to have health-related discussions with me, which is rare and appreciated.

5.0 star star star star starHe took his time to speak with me about my concerns and reasons for the visit. Conducted a thorough interview and examination, and I did not feel as though I was being rushed through the appointment.

5.0 star star star star stari can not say enough good things about this Doctor. He is top shelf in every category. This Doctor listens to you, and is very respectful. He takes the time to listen to you and then explains in a way that makes you feel that he and you are on the same team. Also, he has very good bedside manner. You feel valued as a patient and he educates you while he is treating you. Wish i had met him years earlie, but i will always be a patient of his now while he is practicing.

5.0 star star star star starDr. McNaughton had been my Primary Care Physician for many years and it isn't that I haven't had the occasion to see other PCP's but I never receive the same level of care and professionalism. He ask questions, he listens to what I have to say. When I get my symptoms or I am self diagnosing and wrong, he will let me know and give sound medical advice and make referrals when necessary. I leave his office knowing that even though I wasn't anywhere in the ballpark with my thinking, my opinion was valued.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
