5.0 star star star star starMy knee replacement could not have gone better! My surgery was one year ago and I recently had my one year follow up appointment. I have no pain or stiffness at all and would highly recommend Dr. Lupo to anyone needing knee or hip replacement surgery.

5.0 star star star star starI felt like Dr. Lupo explained everything very well and gave me the time I needed to answer my questions. He has a nice relaxed manner and is sympathetic. He listened to me and asked a lot of questions to pinpoint my concerns. He offered helpful suggestions to treat my problem. I felt that he was very knowledgeable and honest. He told me what he could and could not do and did not push me into any unnecessary procedures.

5.0 star star star star starI extremely likely to recommend Charles Lupo, MD for care based on his excellent and absolutely successful surgery treatment for me and in general, based on my absolutely positive experience with this surgeon doctor. He surpassed any expectations that I could have not only as your patient but also as a human being, and both his knowledge and the gentle and kind care that he continually provides are above and beyond.

5.0 star star star star starWhat's most important to me when I am looking for a doctor is that he actually cares about me and not about the procedure.Talking with doctor Lupo made me feel comfortable and as I had mentioned before, answered all of my questions.

5.0 star star star star starHe is personable and knows what he’s doing. He’s approachable. Explained very well my pre-surgery X-rays and how the device would be placed. I was nervous and hurting at the time. Was very attentive post-op when I was in recovery. I have followed the post-op therapy very well. Today’s visit assured me the devices are placed correctly and healing well. I understand what I need to continue to do for the best possible recovery. I’m willing to be vigilant.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
