5.0 star star star star starHe was gracious and helpful and read my medical history and explained very well what was happening to my left eye. Emphasized importance of follow up by my own eye doctor. Looks approachable and sincere w/ your condition..

5.0 star star star star starVery thorough doctor. He helped me clean up the duplicate medicines on my chart, examined my knee, did imaging, referred me to ortho, gave me a brace and medication recommendation that I’m hoping will be very helpful to me. He explained things so I could understand, even while in pain, and had good bedside manner.

He was very professional and knowledgeable. He had lots of information about recent studies and seems to be staying up-to-date on his information.

5.0 star star star star starDr Fung does not do his job for financial gain. He is someone who genuinely cares about his patients and their well being. My experience was an extremely pleasant one, and my son was happy to have him as a doctor. Words can not express how grateful I am to have met him. Dr. Fung is a gem. My encounter with Dr. Fung was extremely pleasant, and I can tell he has a good heart.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI do appreciate him wearing a mask - but i was there because I was sick w/ear pain and unable to hear. He talked very fast and rattled of the names of meds. My hearing was muddled and I was unable to hear him. Let alone identify the meds. I do have to say that I thought it was very smart of him to clean up all the old prescription on my med records.

5.0 star star star star starThis had to have been the best experience I have had with any doctor my whole life. Dr Fung is kind, brilliant and funny. He really took his time with me and gave me information backed up by credible resources…which I much appreciate. I wish he could be my primary care doctor! I would give him 1000/10.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
