4.0 star star star star star_borderGood Bedside manner. Give me information about surgery and recovery procedures- not too much in detail because everything is pre printed for the procedure. I didn’t feel rushed but he seems to be in a “ bit “ of a hurry- I do understand that he has to go the different rooms to see other patients.

5.0 star star star star starWhen you undergo a surgery, you barely interact with your surgeon. He comes into the prep area and makes sure you're all on the same page as to what is about to happen, but then he does his thing while you're under anesthesia. Based on my results, I believe he did a great job!

5.0 star star star star starI've always had good things to say about my doctors. Dr Savan Patel is and was very truthful about my extremely rare condition usually only read about in text books. He explained everything that was wrong with my shoulder and he gave me the name of a specialist to call for my condition and that was that.

5.0 star star star star starReview of patellofemoral exercises was helpful. Directions for ongoing self-care include the same exercises. The doctor answered all my questions during the follow up visit. Left knee is doing great, I have achieved my goals and I only make a new appointment on an as-needed basis.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
