4.0 star star star star star_borderI felt rushed. she doesn't always give me a chance to speak freely. She has a set of questions for me to answer. She called me 10 minutes after my appointment, and I only had 20 minutes with her. When you feel rushed, even when you are asked if there is anything else, you feel like your provider just wants to get off the phone.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderMost of the appointment was spent revisiting/reviewing and commenting on previous appointments with other providers and stating other information repeatedly. There were multiple references to events that did not take place, which leads me to believe that the dietician was unprepared for the appointments and refecing someone else's information. Erica ignored my corrections and continued to try to make this information relevant, rather than admit her error. Also, there was a lot of information shared afterwards, that could have been discussed during the appointment. Lastly the follow-up note referenced nformation that was not shared during the appointment. I was very disappointed in how the time was spent.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
