Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital and Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital* offers state-of-the-art equipment and our board-certified pediatric radiologists use techniques in a calming, child-friendly setting.
Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is certified by Image Gently®, which means that physicians take the philosophy of being cautious, performing medical imaging tests only when necessary, and using the lowest possible radiation dose.
Lurie Children’s pediatric hospitalists at Central DuPage Hospital, support patients who may require sedation during an imaging procedure. Child life specialists are available to help children who may feel anxious about having images taken, and in most cases, allow these imaging procedures to be done without sedation.

Pediatric MRIs Made Easy
From “scary” to “like a spaceship,” Northwestern Medicine caregivers will work with your child to ensure that they feel comfortable during unsedated magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Pediatric MRI With Contrast
If your child needs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with contrast dye administered through an IV, Northwestern Medicine caregivers will work with them and your family to make IVs easy.
