Cysts

A cyst is a sac-like pocket of membranous tissue that contains fluid, air or other substances. A cyst can grow almost anywhere in your body. Cysts can either be benign or cancerous, and are formed due to infections, inherited diseases, chronic inflammation or blockage in a duct. There are numerous types of cysts depending on where they are on the body and how they were formed.
