The Northwestern Medicine Sleep Health Centers provide day and night sleep studies for diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, including:

  • sleep apnea
  • periodic limb movement disorder
  • nocturnal behaviors disorders (sleep walking, talking and eating in sleep, acting out dreams)
  • narcolepsy

Patients have the option of completing diagnostic studies at home using ambulatory monitoring technology. The Northwestern Medicine Sleep Health Centers are accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).

In addition, Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital offers advanced diagnostics and treatment of sleep disorders at a convenient location in Chicago’s western suburbs. The Sleep Health Center is an accredited member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine—considered the gold standard—from the largest professional medical society for clinicians and researchers in the field of sleep medicine.
