The Peripheral Neuropathy Clinic is a patient-centric, multi-disciplinary clinic that provides comprehensive and coordinated care needed for our patients with peripheral neuropathy. Our mission is to provide the highest-quality care possible for patients with neuropathy while advancing new therapies and investigating causes and cures.
Our team has extensive experience treating neuropathies, including painful neuropathies like painful diabetic neuropathy, and hereditary neuropathies like Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. We also offer access to clinical trials through Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Using a multidisciplinary team approach, trained specialists provide comprehensive care to address all the needs of the patient. Our goal is to help patients control underlying causes of the neuropathy, manage the symptoms and improve their quality of life. Northwestern Memorial Hospital is one of few hospitals in the region with a plastic surgeon who specializes in nerve surgery.

The Peripheral Neuropathy Clinic at Northwestern Memorial Hospital was established in 2009 with support from the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy. Using a multidisciplinary approach, a specially trained care team provides diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitative and supportive services.
