Dialysis Treatment With Comfort and Convenience
Healthy kidneys remove waste and fluid from your blood. If they do not work properly, dialysis can help.
You typically need to go to a hospital or dialysis center to get treatment several times a week. Each session is about three to four hours.
Our program lets you get certain types of dialysis in the comfort of your own home:
- Hemodialysis
- Peritoneal dialysis
At-home dialysis can minimize changes to your lifestyle. Our goal is to help you live the healthiest, most independent life possible.
What to Expect
We will put you at the center of your care team. Our experts provide in-depth education about dialysis and can help you make informed decisions to meet your goals.
If you choose at-home dialysis, a dedicated team will train you on what to do before you start at home. Training helps ensure you have the confidence and skills needed.
You can get dialysis during the day or overnight while you sleep. In addition, we offer advanced technology and remote health monitoring for a better experience.
Types of Home Dialysis
Home Hemodialysis
This option uses surgery to place an arteriovenous fistula or a dialysis catheter to access a blood vessel. Then, blood goes through the fistula or catheter to a dialysis machine. The machine’s filter removes waste and extra fluid from your body.
Home Peritoneal Dialysis
This option filters your blood and removes extra fluid from your body using:
- Dialysis fluid
- The lining of your abdomen (peritoneum)
