Meet the Cardiology Pharmacy Team
Cardiology pharmacists are part of the cardiology care teams in both the inpatient hospital and outpatient clinics. They care for patients with heart failure, heart transplant and ventricular assist devices.
They:
- Review patients’ medication profiles
- Round with the care team each day
- Make sure each patient gets the right medication
- Teach patients about their medications
- Help adjust medications to meet treatment goals
