Symptoms of Dysphagia
Symptoms of dysphagia include:
- Odynophagia (pain with swallowing)
- Regurgitation (the return of partially digested food from the stomach to the mouth or nose)
- The feeling that food is stuck in your throat
- Choking or coughing while eating
- Pulmonary aspiration (the inhalation of food, liquid or vomit into the lungs)
- Chest pain or pressure
- Heartburn
- Fatigue
- Weight loss
