The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends COVID-19 vaccines for everyone ages 6 months and older. Northwestern Medicine follows CDC guidelines for giving the COVID-19 vaccine.
Where to Get the Vaccine
Northwestern Medicine offers the Pfizer-BioNTech 2024 – 2025 COVID-19 vaccine.
COVID-19 vaccines are available:
- At your primary care physician’s office. Ask at your next visit.
- At sites in your local community. Go to vaccines.gov to search for a vaccination clinic by ZIP code.
- At Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care Centers during the times listed below.
- You do not need an appointment.
- You do not need to be a Northwestern Medicine patient.
- 6 Months to 11 Years
- 12 Years and Older
These Immediate Care Centers offer the Pfizer-BioNTech 2024 – 2025 COVID-19 vaccine to people 6 months to 11 years old.
- Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care Huntley – Wednesdays, 4 – 7 pm
- Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care Lake Bluff – Wednesdays, 4 – 7 pm
- Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care Old Irving Park – Thursdays, 4 – 7 pm
- Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care Wheaton – Saturdays, 10 am – 2 pm
