VHL Specialists and Care Centers

Patients with VHL, as well as people with known family history of VHL, are encouraged to seek care from a healthcare team who has experience with this complex disease.

The VHL Program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital includes a multidisciplinary team of experienced specialists who work together to keep patients with VHL healthy through active surveillance and early detection. In the event that a tumor is detected, expert cancer care is available through the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. In addition, genetic counselors with in-depth knowledge of VHL are available to provide advice and support.

As one of the only dedicated VHL Clinical Care Centers in Illinois, our mission is to provide the highest-quality care and treatment for patients with VHL and their family members.
