Before Your First Counseling Appointment in Sycamore or Sandwich

When you first contact Northwestern Medicine Behavioral Health Services, you’ll be asked to provide some information so the staff can match you with the best therapist. Information you will be asked for includes:

• Why you are seeking counseling services (our goal is to match a therapist to your needs)
• If you have scheduling limitations for appointments with a therapist
• If you have any special requirements for your therapist

Insurance Information

Northwestern Medicine contracts with a variety of insurance companies, including HMO and PPO providers. If you have questions about billing and insurance, please contact the billing office.
