4.0 star star star star star_borderFriendly, answered all my questions. A little cut & dry on some things. He was direct which is okay. Just would have wanted a positive spin on things such as, yes your heart will not get better but here are some things you can do to help to keep going in the right direction.

5.0 star star star star starHe honestly cared about giving me the best care he could give me and it came across that he cared.I also felt he really knew how to treat my condition and did not try to talk me into something I did not need.

5.0 star star star star starI feel he explained the procedure to be done very well and took the time to answer any questions that came up in our conversation. He also talked in terms we understand and not in terms we had no idea what he was explaining like some doctors do. This was a major plus for me b y talking in terms I would understand. My sister was also there and felt Iike I do.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
