5.0 star star star star starDr. Ross was my choice from 3 urologic oncologists. Northwestern didn’t offer cryo focal therapy before his arrival. He data driven and all about the science of his field. I think he’s also a nice guy who cares about his patients.

5.0 star star star star starA reason I chose Dr. Ross was that he performs focal therapy/Cryoablation. I understand the procedure was deemed a “successâ€, but I think whether it cured my cancer, and its long term side effects, are TBD at this point.

5.0 star star star star starI am highly recommending Dr. Ashley Ross as a specialist in prostate cancer. I have complete confidence in his knowledge of this specialty. His demeanor and communication skills are superb. With all of the health problems I have had over the years I can say with assurance that this is one of the few doctors that I am grateful to have come across. A smile comes to my face every time I think of him. With the pressures that now exist on doctors and patients to navigate through the health care system successfully, this doctor comes through with flying colors.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
